Meet the team
I'm Lucy Ann Phillips, hence our name L A Dog Groomers. I have personally been a dog groomer since 2010. I qualified in 2015 with a City & Guilds level 3 diploma.
I used to own Dogs Bodies but due to moving and some family circumstances i decided to start again and recreate my passion. So we are now based at Mile Elm in our fabulous new barn style salon.
I have a little dog myself called Shelby, shes usually in the salon with us - you wont miss her as she has been creatively groomed as a mini leopard.
I have also recently adopted a 1 year old Frenchie called Hudson, who is full of beans and learning how to be a salon dog. I am a mum of two beautiful girls and i work my business currently around school days/times.
This is Millie, my part time grooming assistant and sister. She previously used to work in the NHS and then decided to leave and spend her days working with animals.
She works with me part time and also on Mile Elm farm with the cows. Animal therapy is her favourite thing. She has 2 ginger cats and a Black Labrador who are her world and when she isn't here or at the farm you will find her out walking with the dog or working on her own business Millie's Mutts Pet Shop. You will find a small selection of her items stocked in our salon.
This is Liz, one of my good friends who has recently joined the salon part time.
Liz has a beautiful Beagle called Joey. When Liz isn't at work you will find her running, hiking or having quality time with her family.
This is Sophie, she is also joining us through 2025 as an Adhoc/holiday cover assistant. As you can see she has her own dogs and is a true animal lover.
Sophie is a Baby Sleep Consultant in her main role but will be picking up some shifts with us from time to time. She has been a great support stepping in when needed and is fantastic with the dogs.
This is Kathryn, My oldest and dearest friend. She is a through and through animal lover and has spent her life rescuing cats while juggling a busy A&E Job. In her spare time you will find her at the gym, swimming or spending time with family & friends.
